Charlie Kidd is the President & Chief Executive Officer of CDK Group, Inc., a property management and investment firm in Highlands County, Florida. He is also the President and Chief Operating Officer of Two C, LLC, a warehouse and office rental entity located in Highlands County, FL and Kidder Capital, LLC, an entity established to operate and manage an office and apartment building located in downtown Sebring, FL.

Mr. Kidd is the former Controller and Treasurer of Atlantic Blue Trust, Inc., whose current CEO is Senator J. D. Alexander (Majority Whip – Florida Senate).  The company has three wholly owned subsidiaries. The Blue Head Ranch, LLC is a 62,500-acre cattle ranch in Southwest Highlands County, Florida. The Tri-County Grove, LLC is a 3,600-acre parcel with 2,000 acres of producing citrus. Alico Holding, LLC, is a Nevada entity, of which Mr. Kidd was a Manager, established to hold 3,493,777 shares of Alico, Inc. (Nasdaq – ALCO) stock. Alico, Inc., which owned 141,000 acres in south and central Florida, recently traded in excess of $60.00 per share, creating a total value for Alico Holding, LLC in excess of $200,000,000.00. 

Mr. Kidd worked in the agriculture industry for more than a decade.  In 1994, at the age of 26, he became the Controller and Chief Financial Officer of Withers & Harshman, Inc., a citrus company founded in 1912. When closed in 2003, Withers & Harshman, Inc. was the oldest continuous operating company in the history of Sebring. The liquidation of the assets, which also included Sebring Packing Company, Inc., Highlands Fertilizer Company, Inc., Withers & Harshman Caretakers, Inc., Cummings Groves Company and The Elmira Citrus Corporation of Florida, was at that time possibly the largest cash liquidation of a closely held company in the history of Highlands County and resulted in several hundred parcels of various types of investment properties being sold.

Prior to entering the private company arena, Mr. Kidd worked four years with Bunting, Tripp & Ingley, CPA’s, one of the oldest and most prestigious CPA firms in the Central Florida area, with it’s founding over 70 years ago.

Mr. Kidd received his Bachelors of Science in Accounting in 1990 from Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida. While matriculating at Florida State University in Tallahassee, FL, Mr. Kidd had the Charles D. Kidd Coaches Award named in his honor while a member of the Pi Kappa Phi National Fraternity, in recognition of excellence in coaching. Mr. Kidd coached many of the fraternity’s athletic squads, including the FF & G flag football championship squad, which won the campus wide championship.

Mr. Kidd is a sponsor of Youth Athletics having served as the President, Vice-President, Treasurer and Coach for the Youth Baseball of Sebring, before serving six years as the District VII Director for the Florida Dixie Youth Baseball, Inc.

Mr. Kidd established his love for sports in his adolescence, as a leading member (Principal’s award recipient for baseball – recognizing scholarly and athletic contributions) and All-County performer of Sebring High School’s first ever District Champion baseball squad; that squad remains the only baseball team from Sebring High School ever to be ranked #1 in the State baseball polls. Mr. Kidd was also an All-Conference performer on Sebring High School’s football squad and a member of a Pop Warner National Championship Football squad in Ft. Myers.

Mr. Kidd counts traveling as his number one hobby.  In 2003 alone, Mr. Kidd was able to visit over 100 American national parks and visited 16 countries across the globe, ranging from Polynesia to Asia to Europe.  He immensely enjoys meeting people of different cultures and backgrounds and believes while we are often different in values and morals, we are also strikingly similar.
